Filter API Data

MTS Franchisee makes it easy to download your data to Excel, Power BI, or any other application which can access web based APIs.

To get the most out of your API access, you may want to apply filters.  If you don’t apply filters, you may be downloading more data than you need, and this can slow down your Excel file or report.

When you click the ‘API information’ button in your MTS Franchisee software, you will notice that below the URL, there are options to include filters (also known as parameters):

If you put a value in one of the boxes, you will notice that the API URL is updated to include this parameter: 

In the above example, the API will now return sale from 1st January 2024 and after.

You can now copy the full URL into Excel or Power BI to download your filtered sales.
